Futura

With technology and the times changing what feels like every other second, transport yourself to the year 2050 and voila(!), welcome to a world ruled by the Invisibles. Futura, a novella written by Jordan Phillips, takes you along on an American woman's journey to Paris, a city that is able to bridge the past and "present" of 2050, where other cities in the world have succumbed to a world ruled by robots and microchips, Paris is able hold on to the beauty of nature, "being human" and the value of individuality. This book gives hope to humankind and proves to be a realization of the society we could potentially become. A great, quick read, Futura leaves one feeling that the future doesn't have to be the scary place that many fear in  inevitable.
